As a Flagler Beach engagement photographer, I was ecstatic to be chosen to document a proposal for an adorable couple at her Grandparents riverside home.

The picturesque drive I took to arrive to this location was unbelievably stunning. I winded through mossy live oak trees and salt marsh which led me to scenic A1A along the Atlantic Ocean.

The quintessential Old Florida backdrop really set the scene for a whimsical proposal. Upon arriving, I met with dear friends that were working hard to make the set up perfect with beautiful flowers and photos.

I waited on the boardwalk, camera in hand, ready to capture a once in a lifetime moment to unfold. While I waited, I quickly realized why this location was so special to them.

During our planning call, we chatted about all the summers she’d spent with her grandparents and how many memories were made on this boardwalk. I could see the views and picture how many sunsets were probably watched from this very outlook.

All of their family and friends gathered in hiding, waiting to surprise the happy couple with champagne and custom engraved glasses. I could feel the warmth and excitement present in the moment and did my past to capture all of the love that was abundant.

We walked to the grandparents dock to capture some family portraits and I had a lot of fun creating memorable portraits in an environment that was so special and close to their hearts. This setting was beautiful and the boat presented the perfect opportunity for engagement photos.

As a Flagler Beach engagement photographer, I had so much fun capturing this proposal and I am so thankful that I could create a memento for this couple to always remember this very special day.
