Small Town Charm
Far away from the hustle and bustle of Jacksonville, Ponte Vedra is a very small coastal community situated along the northeast coast of Florida. Ponte Vedra Beach is well-known as a prominent golf community and offers luxury resorts with plentiful amenities.

Guana Tolomato Matanzas Research Reserve
One of the best places to capture Ponte Vedra Beach photos is guana tolomato matanzas research reserve. There is an abundance of wildlife to photograph here, such as the Roseate Spoonbill pictured above. Most people associate flamingos with Florida but in fact, flamingos are rare in most parts of Florida. Roseate Spoonbills are more common, although still hard to come by. Spotting one in the wild is truly delightful, they are vibrant and beautiful. We have both lived in Florida for all of our lives and I still remember seeing one for the first time during a kayaking trip.
Mickler’s Landing
One of our favorite locations to photograph at is Mickler’s Landing in Ponte Vedra Beach. It is very quiet and only private homes dot the landscape in the distance. The beach is rarely crowded and their are bathroom facilities too. Ponte Vedra Beach has stunning sunrises to photograph as well.
