World’s Largest Ron Jon Surf Shop

Cocoa Beach is a world famous surfing destination, so it makes sense that it’s the home of the world’s largest Run Jon surf shop. You’ll see this huge Ron Jon Surf shop sitting along Atlantic Ave with large statues out front. Even if you do not surf, it is a can’t miss photo-op and fun shopping experience.

While the world’s largest Ron Jon Surf shop is a fun experience, nothing compares to the beauty of the actual beach. Undoubtedly, Jetty Park is one of the coolest beaches because you can watch cruise ships sail off into the ocean.

Jetty Park is a scenic 35 acre nature park and RV campground with a 1200 foot fishing pier. Additionally, visitors can enjoy surfing, kayaking, lounging on the beach and watching Cruise Ships sail off into the Atlantic Ocean. Be sure to purchase a parking pass in advance online.

Cocoa Beach Pier

The historic Cocoa Beach Pier is 800 feet long and it expands over the Atlantic Ocean with restaurants, shopping, bars and live music. Westgate Resorts restored the pier to its glory days, bringing it back as an epicenter for shopping and dining with a view.

Dining Options:

  • Pier 62 Oceanfront Restaurant
  • Ocean Freeze Daiquiri Bar
  • The Boardwalk Bar
  • Ohana Subs
  • Chip Wrecked
  • Sea Dogs
  • Rikki Tiki Tavern
  • Maui J’s Shaved Ice Truck

Lori Wilson Park

My favorite beach access in Cocoa Beach, FL is Lori Wilson Park. This 32 acre nature park features a 3,155 foot boardwalk that will immerse you in the natural beauty of the Space Coast.

Most notably, this beach access offers a large parking area with free parking. Additionally, you will find pavilions, picnic tables, a playground, dog park, restrooms, showers and chair rentals. Lori Wilson Park is one of the best things to do with kids in Cocoa Beach.

Visiting Cocoa Beach

Cocoa Beach is a well known surfing destination that draws millions of visitors with its charming coastline, dining, shopping and outdoor activities. This scenic beach town is laid back but also features plenty of things to do.

Despite the popularity of Cocoa Beach, there is still an abundance of small town charm. There is a slower pace of living that perfectly embraces vacation life.
