Is it worth it going to Saratoga Springs?
As a Disney World Family Photographer, we spend a lot of time at Disney World resorts. Disney World’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa is a Disney Vacation Club resort that is equestrian themed with Victorian inspired architecture – like Saratoga Springs, NY. Saratoga Springs is considered a deluxe resort and although it is a DVC resort, you do not have to be a DVC member to be a guest at the resort.
What is so special about Saratoga Springs?
What makes Saratoga Springs so special is its proximity to Disney Springs, abundant transportation, variety of pools and all of the rooms are villas that offer amenities like

- Patio or Balcony
Each villa has a patio or balcony that offers a great place to enjoy the outdoors. Saratoga Springs has five pools, one for each section of the resort – aside from The Carousel.

Can you walk from Saratoga Springs to Disney Springs?
Yes, you can walk to Disney Springs from Saratoga Springs Resort across the pedestrian bridge. You can also take bus or water transportation as well.
Transportation
One of the many things that I personally love about Saratoga Springs Resort is the abundance of transportation. There is a bus stop for each section of the resort and the ferry boat to Disney Springs leaves every 20 minutes.
The ease of transportation is one of the main differences I have seen when comparing value resorts with deluxe resorts on Disney Property. It’s extremely convenient to be walking distance away from the wide variety of shopping and dining options at Disney Springs.
Dining
Each villa comes with a kitchen, which is wonderfully convenient for a quick breakfast or lunch. However, there are two dining options on Saratoga Springs Resort property:
The Turf Club Bar & Grill (dinner only) and The Artist’s Palette which is a quick service option with grab and go options.
The Turf Club Bar & Grill serves delicious steak and we absolutely love the buffalo chicken dip.
Activities
As previously mentioned, there are plenty of pools at Saratoga Springs. One of our son’s favorite pools is The Paddock Pool because it has a really fun corkscrew waterslide.

We rented a Surrey Bike and absolutely loved touring the resort this way, it was a lot of fun! Disney World Family Photographer, we know how important it is to keep kids entertained – and, you won’t have to worry about that at Disney’s Saratoga Springs resort.
Is it worth it going to Saratoga Springs?
Yes, Saratoga Springs is worth it. Especially if you are going on a family trip with multiple families. If you enjoy shopping and dining at Disney Springs then Saratoga Springs is absolutely the resort for you. These days, it can be tough to land dining reservations on Disney property – especially for larger parties. So, being so close to Disney Springs gives you a lot of different options for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
The spacious villas are perfect for families with children and the bus stops in each section of the resort make it a breeze if you are relying on the Disney bus system to get to the parks.
