Daytona Beach family photography at sunrise
Daytona Beach family photography is exciting to capture because we are able to meet families from many different places. Because most of our clients are traveling from out of state, we may never get the chance to photograph them again. It’s always a pleasure to capture portraits for families on more than one occasion.
We have had the pleasure of capturing portraits for this lovely family before and this summer they returned with some members of their extended family that I have yet to meet. I met them at their condo in Daytona Beach shores to photograph a breathtaking sunrise session for them.
The great thing about a sunrise session is that you won’t run into too many other people out on the beach that early in the morning. Even though it’s very early in the morning, it can be a great way to avoid afternoon thunderstorms too.
Daytona Beach at sunrise feels like a dream on some days and this was one of them. There were very few beach goers at such an early hour, so it felt like we had all of Daytona Beach Shores to ourselves. I couldn’t help but head down to the beach to watch the sand pipers and seagulls before we began shooting their Daytona Beach family photography session – such a peaceful sight.
I absolutely adore when families are able to get together for a beach portrait during their trips because it is such a special souvenir. While the tans will fade, the photos will last a lifetime!
With extended families, we like to capture a variety of poses and groupings. One of my favorite groupings is the grand children with grandparents, it’s such a sweet memory to capture. We love getting the whole family together and then breaking it down to do individual families, siblings, cousins and many more fun and memorable portraits.
